Welcome to "Villa Pitéou". ☀️ Offering every comfort, the villa boasts spacious, modern layouts. All rooms are on the ground floor, with an L-shaped design, and open onto a large tiled and wooden terrace surrounding the swimming pool.
The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the living areas, which guarantees tranquility and plenty of space.
Here is a breakdown of the parts:
- a large master bedroom with a 160 x 200 double bed and its private shower room AND separate toilet;
- two other bedrooms with two double beds 160 x 200;
- a second bathroom and a second separate toilet;
- an open office space (with the possibility of an additional sleeping space for a 7th person on an extra bed 0.90 X 190 and on request);
- a large, fully equipped kitchen with dining area;
- a large lounge to relax in after a day of sightseeing;
- a laundry room with washing machine and ironing equipment;
- a very large plot of 4000-m2 (1600 m2 of garden at your disposal, the rest in a natural area not accessible) with a generously sized swimming pool, 10 x 5 meters which complements the interior description above: the Landes nature is present and at your doorstep.
You have the option to easily park 2 or even 3 cars on the access road to the house and in front of the main entrance door.
Note that the street in Pitéou where your house is located is in a natural area; the houses are built on large plots partly on protected natural areas: this is the case behind your house where the land can be marshy in winter and spring.
The Landes flora is right on your doorstep, and the wildlife sometimes makes an appearance, deer and wild boar, all in complete peace and safety...it's all part of the local landscape! You can walk around the house, and the swimming pool (brand new in 2025) with its tiled and wooden deck is located on the southwest side. Please note: there is a slight overlooking from this side, as the neighboring house's pool is of medium height and still growing. You will particularly appreciate the modern practicality and beautiful contemporary spaces of the house, as well as the tranquility of its garden.
During your stay, you will have access to: Parking, Wi-Fi, Television, Washing machine, Iron, Griddle, Dishwasher, Microwave, Oven, Coffee machine, Raclette grill, etc. Bed linen and towels are included in the cleaning fee.

- 5 minutes walk from the town centre of Léon and all its shops;
- Carrefour Market, bakery, fishmonger, butchers within a 5/8 minute walk;
- 10 minutes by bike from Lake Léon and its outdoor activities;
- 15 minutes by car from Plage de la Lette Blanche;

Léon, a tourist town in the Landes region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, is located 6 km from the ocean, 30 minutes from Bayonne and a 50-minute drive from Biarritz. On its lake, you can enjoy canoeing, paddleboarding, or fishing. Lake Léon is an ideal setting for young children with its fine sandy beach. You can explore the nature reserve that stretches to Moliets by navigating the Huchet stream in a boat guided by local boatmen. The Palue River, which feeds into Lake Léon, is also very popular for guided or unguided canoe and kayak trips. With a few gentle rapids, a fun and adrenaline-filled experience is guaranteed for solo travelers, couples, families, or friends!
In summer, the market featuring local Landes produce is held daily in the village square, a 10-minute walk from the villa. Léon is a lively town with shops open year-round, including a fishmonger, bakeries, butchers, a wine shop, a cinema, and a cultural center!
Even today, Léon is appreciated for its unspoiled landscape, its numerous leisure activities, and its respect for Landes traditions, both in sports and gastronomy. The nearest beach is only 6 kilometers away and is the beautiful, authentic beach of "La Lette Blanche," but you also have the beaches of Moliets, at a similar distance, large and beautiful stretches of fine sand and dune areas, typical of the Landes region.
The famous Vélodyssée, the great cycle route that crosses France from Nantes to Hendaye, passes right by the house and allows you to enjoy beautiful rides through pine forests, without any difficulties: we can arrange for you to rent your bikes, which will be delivered to your home and returned to you before your departure with our local partners...
