The Bastide district is a former industrial area that is experiencing an economic revival thanks to various developments. Facing the Garonne and the Place de la Bourse, you will discover the old Orléans train station, which now houses a large cinema. Nearby, the European University of Management and a few steps away, the Parc des Berges and the Botanical Garden offer a large green space. This new promenade allows you to admire the Tourny facade built along the quays of the left bank. La Bastide is also characterized by its architectural charm, notably with the bell tower of the Sainte-Marie de la Bastide church and the Maison Cantonale, an architectural work from the 1930s. It will be possible to reach the city center easily by tram or the Jacques Chaban-Delmas bridge.
