Edvard is a large, very bright 2-bedroom apartment located on the 2nd floor of a classic 18th-century Bordeaux building halfway between the Jardin Public and the historic Chartrons district, renowned for its antique shops, boutiques and many lively restaurants.
The building is ideally located at the foot of the tram line and very close to the Place des Quinconces public transport hub, providing easy access to the entire Bordeaux metropolitan area. This old building does not have an elevator.
Inspiration
The spaciousness of this apartment is enhanced by two major works by Edvard Munch, a Norwegian painter and printmaker who spent several years in France and is now considered a pioneer of expressionism in modern painting. We have selected the paintings "The Steam Train" and "The Sun," a symbol of knowledge enlightening mankind.
Comfort, elegance and environmental awareness
For the furniture and equipment, craftsmanship, French manufacturing and "upcycled" materials were favored and chosen to harmonize with the oldest elements of the apartment.
The main room has two sofas, a television and a TV box, and a table that can seat up to 6 people.
Both bedrooms offer the comfort of a large queen-size bed and plenty of storage space.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, induction hob, conventional combination oven, and microwave. A toaster, kettle, and coffee machine complete the extensive amenities at your disposal.
The bathroom has a shower and a hairdryer.
A laundry area hidden in the large entrance closet is equipped with a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.

A chic, attractive, and harmonious neighborhood with elegant buildings, luxury boutiques, performance halls, and some of the best restaurants in Bordeaux. On one side, the neighborhood is bordered by the Cours de l'Intendance, the Cours Georges-Clémenceau, and the Cours Xavier-Arnozan, the famous Golden Triangle with beautiful views of the Place de la Comédie, the Place Tourny, the Place des Quinconces, and the Grand Théâtre. The neoclassical Place des Grands Hommes reflects the new vision of urban planning after the French Revolution. There are many English-style boutiques.
