The Gustav is a quiet apartment, located on the 2nd floor overlooking the courtyard of a classic 18th-century Bordeaux building, halfway between the Jardin Public and the historic Chartrons district, renowned for its antique shops and the liveliness of its many restaurants.
The building is ideally located at the foot of the tram line and very close to the Place des Quinconces public transport hub, providing easy access to the entire Bordeaux metropolitan area. This old building does not have an elevator.
Inspiration
A sober decoration was favored, enhanced by a painting by Gustav Klimt "The Birch Wood," an elegant work in autumnal colors creating an atmosphere that is both dynamic and soothing. The Austrian artist is one of the founders of the Vienna Secession movement, which aimed to unite the country's creative forces, establish contacts with foreign artists, and advocate an international exchange of ideas.
Comfort, elegance and environmental awareness
For the furniture and fittings, craftsmanship, French manufacturing and upcycled materials were favored and chosen to harmonize with the oldest elements of the apartment: oak floors, high ceilings and stone fireplace.
The main room features a sofa bed, a television, and a TV box, as well as a table that can seat up to six people. The bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed and a second television.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, induction hob, conventional combination oven, and microwave. A toaster, kettle, and coffee machine complete the extensive amenities at your disposal.
The bathroom, bathed in natural light, has a shower, a washing machine and a hairdryer.
