Welcome to La Bécassière, an authentic Norman family home nestled in the heart of a preserved natural environment, just a few minutes from Honfleur.
Owned by the same family for more than 45 years, this character-filled property is a true haven of peace. Early in the morning or at dusk, it is not unusual to spot deer quietly crossing the garden.
Surrounded by private family woodland where woodcocks take refuge during winter, the house takes its name from this unique and living natural setting.
Here, the charm of authenticity is fully embraced: original materials, antique furniture and timeless details create the atmosphere of a true countryside family home.
We regularly improve both the house and the garden to make the property even more enjoyable while preserving its authentic spirit.

✨ The swimming pool 12x 5M, is one of the property's main highlights and a truly appreciated feature during the warmer months.
Fully private and reserved exclusively for guests staying in the house, it offers a peaceful and relaxing setting surrounded by nature.
The pool area is secured with a fenced enclosure and pedestrian gate, and also features an electric safety cover. The pool is heated and accessible from May to September, depending on weather conditions and any maintenance required to ensure proper operation.
To preserve the quality of the facilities and the peaceful atmosphere of the property, guests are kindly asked to respect the premises and avoid throwing objects or inappropriate items into the pool.
⚠️ For safety reasons, children and guests who are unable to swim must remain under the constant and active supervision of their parents or guardians at all times.
⚠️ The house may only accommodate the number of guests officially included in the reservation, both during the day and overnight.
For insurance, safety and respect of the property, outside visitors and undeclared additional guests are not permitted without prior approval.
Parties, celebrations, gatherings and festive events are strictly prohibited.
The estate is family-owned and shared with a second house, in a calm and respectful atmosphere. The garden itself remains open and unfenced.
A small kennel is located on the property (not accessible to guests). A few family dogs live there. They are calm and non-aggressive, but guests are kindly asked not to approach or feed them.
