Welcome to Agathe, a bright apartment on the floor of a residence on Rue de Lecat, opposite the Rouen Prefecture: a perfect starting point for exploring the city on foot, while enjoying real everyday comfort... and secure private parking (rare in the city center!).

As soon as you arrive, you will appreciate the modern and refined atmosphere of the apartment: an interior designed to be both practical and welcoming. Settle into the living room, enjoy the direct view of the Prefecture, and savor this simple luxury: feeling calm, right in the heart of Rouen. Whether you are here for a weekend, a business trip, or a getaway, everything is in place for a smooth and relaxing stay.

The sleeping area guarantees you a good night's rest with a 140×190 cm double bed. Need an extra bed? The sofa bed can accommodate one person, but it is not a real bed. It can be used for a child, but you will need to bring your own linens (towels, duvet, pillow, and bed linen). In terms of amenities, everything is ready: a functional kitchen (toaster, Tassimo coffee maker, kettle, etc.), a space for remote working with an extra console, and everything you need for a hassle-free stay. The bathroom has a shower. You'll also appreciate the smart TV and WiFi connection!

📍 Ideal location: a 5-minute walk takes you to the Place du Vieux-Marché, with its terraces and restaurants; in 10 minutes, you're at the train station. The entire historic center, shops, and quays are accessible without a car.

🚗 Agathe's real bonus: a private, secure parking space located nearby (about 70 m) for worry-free parking throughout your stay.

🧺 Bed linen and towels for the double bed (2 guests) are provided. For the sofa bed, please remember to bring your own bed linen (duvet, pillow, towels, etc.). Please note that a private parking space is included in the rental price.


The accommodation is managed by the L'ArchiDuchesse concierge service (10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. / 2:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.). Please respect the premises and the neighborhood. A credit card imprint may be requested via a secure link in order to finalize the reservation and obtain the access codes.

## Neighborhood

Staying on Rue de Lecat means choosing an ultra-convenient location: you are opposite the Prefecture, a stone's throw from Rouen's major attractions, while remaining in a pleasant and well-connected area. Ideal for visiting Rouen on foot, going out in the evening, or coming for a business trip.
A 5-minute walk from the Place du Vieux-Marché, you can discover the Halles du Vieux-Marché, the Jeanne d'Arc church, as well as the many food shops and restaurants located there. You can also visit the Rue du Gros Horloge and the Cathedral, and walk to the quays in 7 minutes, where the Docks are located and where the famous Armada de Rouen is taking place this year! There is also a laundromat 250 meters from the accommodation.

Around the accommodation, you will easily find everything you need to live “like a local”: bakeries, mini-markets, pharmacies, and small shops in the city center (convenient for both short and long stays).

🚗 The real bonus: private parking
Rouen is easy to visit on foot... but if you arrive by car, it's even better: you have a private parking space about 70 m from the accommodation. A rare convenience in the city center!

## Transit

From Rue de Lecat, you can do everything on foot: the historic center, Place du Vieux-Marché, restaurants, shops, and museums are all just a few minutes away. If you prefer public transport, there are two stops nearby: “Vieux-Marché” (line T4) about 350 m away (Boulevard des Belges) and “Revel” (line 15) about 190 m away (Rue du Renard). The Astuce network makes it easy to get around Rouen and its surroundings; tickets are valid for one hour on the entire network, with transfers possible. The SNCF train station is about 1 km away, or a 15-minute walk, which is convenient if you are arriving by train. Finally, if you are coming by car, you will find paid parking spaces in the immediate vicinity (parking meter about 20 m away) and free streets about 300 m away; and above all, you have a private parking space about 70 m from the accommodation—a real plus in the city center!

## Notes

Please note that the apartment is located on the floor of the residence and there is no elevator.

Arrivals are self-service for greater flexibility. They are from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and departures must be made by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.

Accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.). All our guests receive linens, essential items for the day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.), as well as one large towel per person, dish towels, and one bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen trash bags, bathroom trash bags, a sponge, and dishwashing liquid is provided free of charge upon arrival for the duration of your stay.


We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel refreshment, replenishment of essential items, or delivery can be scheduled on request at an additional cost. When you confirm your stay, you will receive the ArchiDuchesse tourist booklet, our tips with promotional codes from our selected partners, and the arrival instructions for your accommodation.

La cour de l'Archiduchesse offers a range of services to make your stay as pleasant as possible: baby equipment rental, luggage storage, shuttle service, babysitting, gourmet boxes, tourist visit requests, event planning (marriage proposals, birthdays, themed rooms, etc.) and much more! When renting accommodation, it is important to follow a few rules to ensure that everything goes smoothly and to avoid any surprises with the deposit! Please take care of the accommodation as if it were your own: avoid damage, respect the furniture, and leave the premises clean when you leave. Follow the instructions regarding schedules and use of equipment, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. Please note that parties are strictly prohibited (€100 will be deducted from the security deposit), the accommodation is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the security deposit), pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the security deposit) unless requested and agreed in advance by us, and any loss, theft, or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value.
