Villa "La Grimpette" – Between Ocean and Lake, in Hossegor
Nestled in one of the resort's most sought-after neighborhoods between Hossegor's marine lake and the Atlantic Ocean, Villa "La Grimpette" welcomes you to a peaceful, wooded, natural setting. Typical of the 1980s, this spacious house built on a sloping plot is distinguished by its split-level architecture, retro decor, and warm atmosphere. An ideal home for a family vacation, just steps from the beaches. Wi-Fi included.
Upon entering, you will discover a large living room, bright thanks to two large Velux windows, with a lounge area opening onto a terrace equipped with an awning, ideal for relaxing outdoors.
In its extension, a generous and equipped kitchen (dishwasher, gas cooker with oven, 1 fridge freezer, microwave) gives access to a second terrace, perfect for outdoor meals, with its large table, benches and barbecue.
Upstairs, a mezzanine room overlooks the living room. It features a (non-functional) billiard table, set in a decidedly vintage ambiance with its original carpeting and wooden balustrade. This house retains its 1980s feel, with its unusual volumes and slightly old-fashioned, yet authentic look.
On the night side, the villa has four spacious bedrooms, designed to accommodate families:
A bedroom with a 160 cm double bed and air conditioning.
A second bedroom with two single beds pushed together and an additional single bed.
A third bedroom with a 160 cm double bed.
A fourth bedroom ideal for families, with 1 double bed (160 cm) and a single bed.
Each room opens to the outdoors, some with their own terrace. The layout is ideal for two families, while ensuring everyone has their own space.
Three bathrooms spread across the different levels complete the house: one with a bathtub, shower, double sink, and washing machine, a shower room with a shower, sink, and toilet, and a third with a bathtub/shower and double sinks. A functional layout for comfortable stays for several people.
Outside, the garden is sloping and left in its natural state, typical of the area, is populated with cork oaks and strawberry trees just a few minutes walk from the shores of the lake or the waves of the ocean.
A rare location for a vacation between nature and the ocean
The main asset of the villa "La Grimpette" is its exceptional location. Just a few minutes' walk from the white beach of the marine lake, very popular with families, and also very close to the Gravière beach, this house allows you to enjoy all the riches of Hossegor on foot or by bike. Cycle paths, town center, golf course, markets: everything is easily accessible, without taking the car.
The setting is simple, rustic, yet authentic. What vacationers love here is the peace and quiet, the space. Despite the dated decor, the bedding is new, and the villa offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for quality time with the family.
