Villerville is a village in Normandy located between Trouville (6 km) and Honfleur (9 km). It is built on a cliff that extends to Trouville. It is close to the sea and the countryside. Stroll through this former fishing village, its streets lined with tall, narrow houses. At low tide, admire the mussel bed and its moiré effect at sunset. Stroll through the Parc des Graves, a protected natural area along the beach. Nestled at the foot of wooded hills, Villerville is both a village and a tourist resort. It is a good place to live and a source of inspiration for artists: Charles Mozin, Ulysse Butin, Gabriel Fauré, and Charles Gounod settled here. The film A Monkey in Winter was largely shot in the village in 1962, starring Jean Gabin and Jean-Paul Belmondo.
