Talence is a commune bordering Bordeaux and boasting numerous green spaces, such as Parc Margaut, Parc Curval, and Parc Peixotto. It is a vibrant town with a large number of shops. It is the fourth largest city in the Gironde department. Talence is home to the University of Bordeaux's College of Science and Technology, as well as numerous higher education institutions. While staying in this town, you will have the opportunity to visit various châteaux: the Peixotto château; the Château du Prince Noir; Château Margaut; and Château Raba. Talence is also very well-endowed in terms of culture, with media libraries, performance halls, and an Arts and Culture Forum.
