La Ciotat is located in the middle of a large gulf, the Gulf of Love, 33 km from Marseille and 40 km from Toulon. It is in the heart of the Calanques National Park. Its two calanques, Le Mugel and Figuerolles, differ from those of Cassis by their red color and their typical shapes (eagle's beak, dog's head). Lovers of hiking, diving, or beach life will be well served in La Ciotat: Calanques National Park, Figuerolles, Île Verte, Les Embiez, Sainte Baume, Sainte-Victoire Mountain. Aix-en-Provence or Marseille are 30 minutes away. The region offers a wide variety of activities that will suit everyone.
