La Ciotat is located in the middle of a large gulf, the Gulf of Love, 33 km from Marseille and 40 km from Toulon.
It is located in the heart of the Calanques National Park. Its two calanques, Le Mugel and Figuerolles, differ from those of Cassis by their red color and their typical shapes (eagle's beak, dog's head).
Hiking, diving, or beach lovers will find plenty to do in La Ciotat: Calanques National Park, Figuerolles, Île Verte, Les Embiez, Sainte Baume, and Montagne Sainte Victoire. Aix-en-Provence or Marseille are 30 minutes away. The region offers a wide variety of activities that will suit everyone.
