Rivedoux-Plage was originally a small fishing port and the tip of Sablanceaux was an immense strip of sand in perpetual evolution.
It is the of the 10 villages on the Île de Ré, located at the entrance to the island just after the 3km bridge. A unique viewpoint bordered by the Pertuis Breton and the Pertuis d'Antioche, facing La Rochelle.
