Collonges-la-Rouge is a jewel of small medieval streets, castles and fortified towers, which has earned it the nickname “city of 25 towers”.
Nestled between walnut and chestnut trees, it is a place conducive to the discovery of built heritage and hiking. We particularly enjoy strolling among the maze of scarlet streets dotted with shops and restaurant terraces.
The village is also a stop on the Rocamadour Route, a more peaceful route for walkers heading to Compostela.
