Nestled on the heights of the charming Provencal village of Cotignac, the Maison Perchée is 5 min walk to shops and restaurants.
The house offers an area of about 70m2 on several levels :
From the terrace, entering through a large French window, you discover, on the left, a kitchen in the colors of Provence where you will find all the necessary equipment for the elaboration of good meals. A table and chairs are arranged under the pergola outside to allow you to enjoy the exceptional view.
From the kitchen, you access a bathroom (shower, sink, toilet).
To the right of the entrance, a few steps allow you to access a large bright room where the living-dining room is installed ; with two French windows to access the exterior. Air conditioning ensures freshness during hot summers.
On the 1st floor there are two bedrooms : a beautiful double room (bed 160x200) equipped with a fan and a small twin room (2 beds 90x200) equipped with a fan. This small bedroom can accommodate 1 adult or 2 children.
It is in the bathroom of the floor (shower, sink and toilet) that are washing machine and dryer. Two french-windows allow access to the outside, on the upper terrace.
The exteriors are very atypical : with a strong height difference, the property offers you a multitude of small corners that you will enjoy during the day.
Surrounded by lush vegetation, the pool is discovered by taking a small paved alley. Once past the gate, you will be happy to spend your sunny afternoons at the water’s edge admiring the dominant view of the old roofs of the village.
However, due to the slope, this property is not suitable for seniors or people with mobility difficulties.
For vehicles, two cars park are provided on the public road at the doors of the property. From there, you take a private path to cross the upper part of the garden and reach the house (attention, access very steep). Another Pieton entrance below allows you to reach the centre of the village on foot more quickly.
Due to the vertical drop, we do not recommend this holiday home to people with mobility difficulties.
Cotignac, a picturesque village of Provence Verte, at the heart of a protected nature, offers a weekly market all year round, flea markets, concerts and outdoor film festival during the summer season ; 40 minutes from Lac Ste Croix and the Gorges du Verdon ; myriad of sports and nautical activities, festivities…
In this haven of peace, the holidays rhyme with well-being and une conciergerie.
