In the heart of the Gosier seaside resort, within the secure grounds of the historic 4-star "Auberge de la Vieille Tour" hotel, lies "Aimé Gwada," a comfortable and cozy 42m² apartment, tastefully furnished and decorated. Fully equipped and air-conditioned, with a 300-liter water tank, it is located on the garden level, facing the sea, with direct access just 50 meters away via the loggia gate to the hotel's small, secluded beach. A little slice of tropical paradise, centrally located near the airport and ferry terminal, it's ideal for exploring the archipelago.
The accommodation: Fully equipped and air-conditioned, located on the garden level, facing the sea, relaxation guaranteed, with direct access just 40 meters away via the loggia gate to the hotel's small, secluded beach. From the beach, you can admire the brown pelicans soaring overhead, sometimes diving dramatically, with a magnificent view of Îlet Gosier, Marie-Galante, Les Saintes, and occasionally even Dominica and the heights of Basse-Terre, including the unobstructed view of La Soufrière volcano.
From your loggia, cooled by the trade winds, whether at the table, lounging on the chaise longue, or relaxing in the hammock, surrounded by the many shades of green of the vegetation and the varied blues of the Caribbean Sea, you'll admire the beautiful monohulls and catamarans passing by, lulled by the sound of the waves. You'll also enjoy the view of the hotel pool to the left and Les Saintes in the distance to the right.
- The apartment entrance features a large walk-in closet accessible through sliding doors, allowing you to store all your clothes and belongings. If needed, you'll find a cordless vacuum cleaner, an ironing board, and a steam iron.
- The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a vanity unit, and a Siemens washer/dryer. A hairdryer is also available.
- The toilet is separate from the bathroom.
- A 300-liter water tank is provided to compensate for potential water outages, which are unfortunately frequent in Guadeloupe.
- Bed linens and towels are provided.
- Large living room furnished with a king-size bed (180x200 cm) (Thiriez bedding, made in France).
This can be converted into two single beds (90x200 cm) upon request prior to your stay.
- Air conditioning, work area (50" flat-screen TV, Orange TV box with satellite channels, Netflix, VOD (payment to be made by the tenant), free and unlimited high-speed internet connection.
- A printer can be made available for professional use.
- Fully equipped kitchen: 2-burner ceramic hob, Thomson multifunction oven, Electrolux refrigerator, Thomson 5/6 place setting dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso machine, kettle, and all necessary cooking equipment and utensils.
You can prepare delicious meals and then enjoy them around the dining table, which comfortably seats 4, while taking in the sea view through the tropical garden (5/6 people possible).
- A hammock and two deck chairs are available in the loggia, as well as a quiet, adjustable fan.
- A bay window and motorized roller shutters in the loggia provide excellent insulation from the outside.
- You will be welcomed for check-in. At check-out, you will receive all the necessary information about the accommodation.
