TAHAA - Fare AUTE

The Fare AUTE is a family Polynesian bungalow located in Tahaa, in the Haamene Bay. The property includes 7 bungalows, offering a peaceful and authentic setting. Tahaa, nicknamed the 'vanilla island', is famous for its vanilla plantations, hiking trails, rum distilleries, as well as its excellent snorkelling spots with coral reefs.

The Bungalow:
It can accommodate up to 10 people, it is comfortable and decorated in a local style. It has 2 double beds downstairs and 2 double beds and 2 single beds on the mezzanine, as well as a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Air conditioning and a fan are available for more comfort, as well as a television. The bungalow opens onto a covered balcony with a table and chairs, ideal for enjoying a morning coffee, relaxing or reading your favourite novel.

The Motu, pontoon, kayaks and bicycles:
Visitors can access a private motu set up as a beach, ideal for relaxing and snorkelling. Kayaks and bicycles are available to explore the bay and the surrounding area. The pontoon also allows fishing, swimming or admiring the sunsets.
Let yourself be seduced by the paradisiacal setting, where the calm of the Haamene Bay and the beauty of the Tahaa lagoon create an unforgettable place to stay.

Meals and bar:
As the bungalow has no kitchen, a half-board catering service is available with breakfast and dinner (excluding drinks).
This must be booked in advance of your arrival, either at the time of booking (in the optional extras section) or later in your traveller's area.
Half-board must be paid for on site before your departure.
Half-board Adult (aged 12 and over) at 6,300 xpf per person
Half-board for children under 12 at half price, i.e. 3,150 xpf per child. Children aged 0 to 3 eat for free. A bar offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including local Hinano beer.

Access to Tahaa :
Tahaa is accessible from Raiatea airport by private boat or by shuttle bus from Uturoa pier. Transfers can be organised according to flight times or the Apetahi Express. Special rates apply depending on the means of transport and time of arrival, with free services for children aged 0 to 3.
*Private boat transfer from Uturoa airport to Raiatea. This service is only available during the day for flights arriving between 07:00 and 16:00 and departing between 07:30 and 17:00.
Single ticket 8,400 xpf for 1 to 2 people - 2,625 xpf per additional person
Return 16,800 xpf for 1 to 2 people - 5,250 xpf per additional person
After these times, you will be charged the night fare, with an additional 10,000 xpf added to the above transfer price.
No transfers after 6.30pm

*OR you will need to take a taxi to the Uturoa quay from where the TTR shuttle bus leaves, which links the two islands during the day only. You must then get off at the Haamene quay.
A car transfer from the pier can be arranged for you, but must be booked in advance.

If you are arriving on the Apetahi Express:
You will need to get off at Tapuamu Quay and let us know your arrival time for your car transfer.
