RAIATEA - Rioa House

This peaceful haven by the sea is nestled in the Fa'aroa bay. Perfect for accommodating 4 people, it consists of two bedrooms with double beds, private bathroom with toilet, equipped kitchen, living room with television and a terrace directly overlooking the Bay.

With your feet in the water, you can enjoy its private beach as well as the 2 kayaks (1 triple and 1 double) and fishing equipment that will be made available for the more adventurous. Nature lovers, the botanical garden located 1km away will help you discover Polynesian treasures. For the most daring, the hike to climb Mount Temehani will offer you the opportunity to discover the local fauna and, for the luckiest, the endemic flower of Raiatea, the Tiare Apetahi.
Your host will be able to advise you on excursions to visit the island and discover Raiatea by sea or by land.

Formerly known as Hava'i, the island of Raiatea, whose name means "distant sky" and "sky endowed with a soft light", is considered the most sacred island of French Polynesia.
Recognized as the cradle of Polynesian gods, it is home to the great sacred Marae of Taputapuatea, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as archaeological treasures, vestiges of civilization and unique cultures in the world.
