The 11th arrondissement of Paris stretches mainly from the Place de la Bastille to the Place de la Nation and Place de la République. Far from being uniform, it is nevertheless homogeneous in the idea that it is a lively arrondissement, full of bars and restaurants, where there is much to experience.
The Bastille district is particularly lively, overlooking numerous shopping districts, offices, colleges, hospitals as well as the Gare de Lyon which draws a continuous flow of travelers to the center.
