- Rolland Garros where the international championships will take place from 25/05 to 8/06/2025. Free shuttle to get there, 5 minutes on foot or walking for about 15 minutes to get there on foot.
- Bois de Boulogne: on foot or by bike (bikes are available for hire at the bottom of my building). In the woods (which are car-free on weekends) there are several gardens (Bagatelle, Précatlan) and the Vuitton Foundation.
- Boulogne: Large square with restaurants and cinema 10 ms walk via rue Gallieni. Numerous shops on boulevard Jean Jaurès and the Les Passages shopping center. Market (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday) and very pleasant walk up boulevard Jean Jaurès towards the Notre Dame de Boulogne basilica.
The 16th arrondissement of Paris is located on the right bank of the Seine, to the west of the city. It is bordered to the east by the Seine and to the west by the Paris ring road, with the exception of the Bois de Boulogne, which is located on the other side of the road.
The arrondissement is primarily residential, but nonetheless attracts tourists for its numerous museums and notable sites like the Trocadéro and the Bois de Boulogne. It is home to the largest number of embassies and consulates in Paris, as well as world-famous sports venues like the Parc des Princes and Roland Garros. Including the hundreds of hectares of the Bois de Boulogne, the 16th arrondissement is the greenest in the capital.
The area is very well served by public transport: metro line 9 at Porte de Saint-Cloud, which provides easy access to Auteuil, La Muette, Trocadéro, Alma-Marceau, the Champs-Élysées, the Opera, the Madeleine and even the department stores.
Several bus lines are also accessible, including line 72, whose "La Tourelle" stop is a 3-minute walk away, exiting to the left of the building (Route de la Reine). This route crosses Paris along the Seine, passing many iconic sites: the Eiffel Tower, the Museum of Modern Art, Concorde, the Tuileries, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, and all the way to L'Hôtel de Ville near Notre-Dame.
