The 16th arrondissement of Paris is located on the right bank of the Seine, to the west of the city. It is bordered to the east by the Seine and to the west by the Paris ring road, with the exception of the Bois de Boulogne, which is located on the other side of the road.
The arrondissement is primarily residential, but nonetheless popular with tourists for its numerous museums and notable landmarks like the Trocadéro and the Bois de Boulogne. It's home to the largest number of embassies and consulates in Paris, as well as world-famous sports venues like the Parc des Princes and Roland Garros Stadium. Including the hundreds of hectares of the Bois de Boulogne, the 16th arrondissement is the greenest in the capital.
