Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer, a commune in the Var region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, is located on the peninsula of the same name, connected to the mainland by the Sablettes Isthmus. Pin-Rolland is a district of Saint-Mandrier with its Saint-Asile beach and its magnificent view of the rocks called "Les deux Freres", located to the south and adjoining Sablettes beach in La Seyne-sur-Mer. About fifteen kilometers south of Toulon, it helps define the harbor. Originally composed of islets, it became a single island in the Middle Ages, the island of Sépet, before being attached to the mainland in the 17th century. Once focused on agriculture, it has been converted into a tourism destination, with a marina and a preserved coastline, where beaches and pine forests are popular.
