Charming renovated studio in a quiet residence, in the heart of a wooded park and close to the town center of Briançon.
Please note: No Wi-Fi. No parking. Self-parking available in the neighborhood or nearby paid underground public parking (recommended). Linens and towels are provided upon request. Check-in is until 8 p.m.
Ideally located near the pedestrian street, surrounded by shops (bakery, bars, snacks, restaurants, supermarket, etc.) and services (doctors, pharmacy, post office, bank, etc.).
200m from the Prorel cable car serving Serre-Chevalier for hiking and summer sports or access to the ski area in winter.
500m from Parc de la Chappe and its leisure activities.
You will be given an individual guest card so that you have:
- free city bus (TUB)
- a reduced rate on guided tours of the Cité Vauban, namely: “Briançon, the essentials” and “Briançon, Grand format”
The 31m2 (26+5m2) studio is composed of:
- a living room with a 140x190cm convertible sofa
- a separate sleeping area with new bedding (130×190cm). NO BEDROOM.
- a separate kitchenette
- a bathroom with bathtub
- a separate toilet
- a 5m2 terrace with table, 3 chairs and a deckchair
The studio's equipment: microwave, washing machine, mini-oven, fridge, 120cm flat-screen TV, DVD player, speaker, Senseo soft-serve coffee machine, kettle, citrus press, raclette machine, fondue set, toaster, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board. A brand new electric shutter has been installed in the living room. However, there is no Wi-Fi and no private parking space. Sheets and towels are provided at an additional cost.
In Briançon, you will find the beautiful Vauban city and its fortress, 2 cinemas, a bowling alley, an ice rink, a casino, a media library, a theater, a swimming pool, a squash and badminton court, a climbing wall, the magnificent Parc de la Shappe and its mini-golf and treetop adventure activities, departures for hiking trails for all levels, and summer activities in Serre-Chevalier from the cable car, etc.
A few kilometers from Monnetier-Les-Bains for thalassotherapy and leisure activities and a few kilometers from the La Roche de Rame lake.
Don't miss out on visiting: Parc de la Chappe, a 12-minute walk away with its treetop adventure course and Via Ferrata, and the Vauban Fortress in Briançon, a 17-minute walk away. For family fun days out, Grimp Forest (adventure park), a 10-minute walk from the accommodation, offers a wide range of activities in the heart of the Serre Chevalier Valley in Briançon and Montgenevre.
For your daily shopping, you will find a Carrefour City supermarket 3 minutes away and E.Leclerc 8 minutes away, everything is within walking distance.

A land of passage, at the crossroads of five Alpine valleys, Briançon became a fortified town in the 14th century. The second largest town in the Hautes-Alpes department, home to important fairs, it is the capital of the Escartons. Located at the convergence of five valleys—Haute-Durance, Guisane, Clarée, Ayes, and Cerveyrette—the town of Briançon occupies a remarkable geographical location.
The radiating structure of these valleys offered the city relatively easy external access very early on: towards Provence, Queyras, Isère, Drôme and present-day Italy.
This dense communications network has long made Briançon appear as a land of passage, an important crossroads in the heart of the Alpine massif, offering the best conditions for the movement of people, the traffic of goods and the exchange of cultures.
Easily accessible from the Serre-Chevalier resort, you can enter the highest fortified town in Europe through the Porte de Pignerol, at an altitude of 1,326m, and be welcomed by the Heritage Service, which offers a variety of guided tours at 3 p.m. every day, led by tour guides approved by the Ministry of Culture, in French, English, Italian (German and Spanish for groups).
