A complete apartment with terrace, swimming pool in the residential complex and free parking space, in a quiet residential area in south-east Madrid. Everything new, everything equipped and with wifi that our guests rate 10 out of 10.
It's the place for those who want Madrid without Madrid's noise: sleep peacefully, park without searching for a space, go down to the pool in the afternoon and have the supermarket two minutes away.
Families coming to Warner Park, people staying a few weeks for work and travellers who prefer space and calm to being in the centre: all three fit here.
THE ACCOMMODATION
It's 35 m² for you alone, with the entire apartment at your disposal.
The bedroom has a double bed and wardrobe, with bed linen and towels already in place. In the living room there's a sofa bed, so up to four people can fit.
The kitchen is properly equipped, not just for show: fridge, oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and complete kitchenware. You have a washing machine inside the apartment, so you don't depend on anyone for laundry.
The bathroom is complete, with shower and hair dryer. And there's television, high-speed wifi and air conditioning, which in Madrid's summer is not an extra: it's what decides whether you sleep.
Outside, terrace and balcony for breakfast, dinner or sitting in the cool when evening falls.
THE RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX
The house is in a residential complex with an outdoor swimming pool, which in season is quiet and not overcrowded —that's what our guests say, not us—.
And you have a free private parking space included. No restricted parking zone, no driving round in circles, no separate parking fees. If you come by car, this is where you notice the difference with any apartment in the centre.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
We're in Ensanche de Vallecas, a modern, spacious and very quiet neighbourhood: wide streets, new buildings, green areas and children's parks. You sleep at night and park during the day, which in Madrid is almost a luxury.
As soon as you leave, you have Mercadona, pharmacies, bakeries, cafés and neighbourhood bars at neighbourhood prices. The La Gavia shopping centre, with cinemas, shops and restaurants, is very close by.
It's a safe, family-friendly area, ideal if you're travelling with children or if you're coming to work and what you need is a good rest.
HOW TO GET AROUND
Line 1 Metro is about a 15-minute walk away, which takes you directly to Atocha, Sol, Gran Vía and Chamartín without changes. There are also several bus lines in the area.
By car, which is how you'll enjoy this house the most: immediate entry and exit via the A-3 and M-45, with quick access to the M-40 and R-3.
Warner Park is about 20 minutes by car, and it's probably the reason many guests choose to stay here rather than in the centre: you get there in no time and return to a peaceful place with a swimming pool.
The historic centre is about 15 km away, Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport is 15 km away and IFEMA is a comfortable journey via the M-40.

No smoking. No pets allowed. It's a residential building where neighbours live all year round, so no parties or events and quiet at night.
