Villa Katia is a beautiful holiday home with private swimming pool for 6 people near Saint-Remy-de-Provence. The ideal mix between modern, authenticity and comfort. Located in the town of Tarascon (Bouches-du-Rhône / Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur), it is the ideal base for numerous outings. A beautiful garden will surprise you. This holiday home is also within walking distance of the town of Tarascon.
Interior:
In this holiday home with swimming pool, everything is on the ground floor, ideal for families with small children or people with mobility difficulties. The holiday home is adapted for disabled guests. The rooms have been beautifully decorated with a perfect mix of modern interior in harmony with authentic elements and attention to comfort. Very cosy lounge, modern kitchen and 3 bedrooms. There is air conditioning in the lounge, the dining area and 2 bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom faces north and has a recent silent ceiling fan that works very efficiently. The large windows bring light inside and open directly onto the beautiful garden. You will not lack anything here for a successful holiday feeling.
Exterior:
The large garden of 4000m2 is truly beautiful and houses more than 50 olive trees and many beautiful local flora. In the middle of this well-maintained garden lies the holiday home with a large sun-drenched private swimming pool (10x5m, depth from 50cm to 1m80, open from April to October with steps, light salt water). From the many terraces around the house you have a view of the garden and the swimming pool. There are large open terraces to completely relax and enjoy the holiday. Lovely shade can be found between the olive trees.
Surroundings:
Tarascon is located on the banks of the Rhône in the Gard department. Large cities such as Avignon and Arles are not far away. Be sure to also visit the typical charming villages in the area for a nice market or one of the many festivals during the summer. But the town itself also has plenty to offer, Tarascon has more than twenty-six sites classified as historical monuments. This testifies to a wealth of history through the centuries. Le Château de Tarascon is an impressive, very well-preserved 15th-century medieval castle directly on the water, built by the Dukes of Anjou. The town is the historical centre of traditional Provençal printed fabrics and houses the famous Souleiado museum. Furthermore, Saint-Remy-de-Provence, Les Baux-de-Provence, Fontvieile, Maillane, Beaucaire, ... are certainly worth a visit.
The owner has a detached outbuilding at the rear of the property. This discreet presence ensures the maintenance of the property and quick assistance if needed, whilst holiday guests are guaranteed exclusive use of the villa, swimming pool and outdoor spaces, with full respect for their privacy.
