Sea View Studio – 1-Star Rated – Beachfront Residence in Le Grau du Roi
Welcome to Le Grau du Roi, where you’ll stay in a 1-star rated studio by Étoiles de France, located in the Château Leenhardt residence, a modern and secure building with direct private access to the beach via the garden. Set right on the right bank beach, one of the most sought-after areas in the resort, this property offers a peaceful setting just steps from shops, restaurants, markets, and local attractions.
Located on the 4th and top floor with elevator, the studio is bright and offers a panoramic sea view over the Bay of Aigues-Mortes and La Grande Motte. The fully equipped kitchenette (Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, oven, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils) opens onto a comfortable and modern living space with a two-seater sofa, TV, and reversible air conditioning.
The bed is a fixed 160 cm double located in the main living area, offering convenience and avoiding the need to fold out a sofa bed each night. The bathroom includes a shower and toilet. From the balcony, you can enjoy stunning sunsets depending on the season, all in a calm and light-filled atmosphere.
Linen included: one set of sheets for a double bed and four bath towels (two large, two small). Additional linen is available for an extra fee: €25 (double bed), €15 (single bed). A welcome kit with basic essentials is provided (excluding condiments, shower gel, and shampoo).
Château Leenhardt is a beachfront residence with private access to one of Le Grau du Roi’s most beautiful sandy beaches. Each unit includes a kitchen, bathroom, sleeping area or separate bedroom (depending on the layout), and either a balcony or terrace with a sea view, bay view, or a view of La Grande Motte.
The neighborhood is perfect for exploring on foot. Within minutes you’ll find shops, local markets (town center and Boucanet), restaurants, tapas bars, and a cinema. There are plenty of activities nearby: seaside walks, bike rides to the Aigues-Mortes salt marshes (bike rental 300m away), boat trips, paddle boats, 4x4 excursions into the Camargue, Luna Park, Amigoland, Port-Camargue’s thalassotherapy center, the Espiguette Beach, and various water sports including kite surfing.
The property is easily accessible from Nîmes, Montpellier, Arles, and La Grande Motte. The Grau du Roi train station is just 1 km away, and bus services are available nearby. The closest high-speed train station is Montpellier Sud de France, and the nearest airport is Montpellier Airport.
Please note: the apartment does not include a private parking space, but it’s generally easy to find parking around the residence, even in high season. We’ll be happy to guide you to free and paid parking options nearby. Public parking meters in town offer daily or weekly passes.
Important information:
The residence consists of two buildings (A and B), each with elevators (ground floor + 4 floors). However, the apartments are not accessible for guests with reduced mobility (non-PMR).
– Building A: upper floors offer a wider sea view, with northwest exposure facing La Grande Motte. This building borders a paid municipal parking lot (March to November), which does not block the sea view. Our listings do not claim "direct seafront views".
– Building B: located slightly further back, these apartments face the inner garden and parking area, with lateral sea views between the buildings and southwest exposure.
Our agency, Grand Sud Immobilier, is proud to manage these apartments on behalf of their owners. However, we are not the building’s property management company (syndic). Common areas are maintained by another agency. In case of any issues with the shared areas, we will provide their contact information.
