Villa Miramont is a charming holiday home with a private swimming pool in Lot-et-Garonne, ideal for a relaxing stay with a maximum of 6 people. The villa is just a 2-minute walk from the centre of Miramont-de-Guyenne, a pleasant French village with cafés, bars, bakeries and a lively market on Monday mornings. Despite its central location, the property enjoys plenty of peace and privacy: a nice combination for those who want to discover real French village life, but also want to relax undisturbed.
Interior: spacious, comfortable and fully equipped
The holiday home in Miramont-de-Guyenne is particularly well-maintained and has a modern, spacious yet homely interior. There are three comfortable double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room. The bedrooms are equipped with fans for extra cooling during warm summer nights.
On the ground floor, air conditioning provides a pleasant temperature. The fully equipped kitchen has, in addition to the usual kitchen utensils and necessary appliances, some extras for those who like to cook during their holiday. There is a Thermomix, a professional Sage coffee machine, a pasta maker, fondue set and Magimix available. Ideal for a full breakfast, a good cup of coffee or a pleasant evening around the table.
Exterior: relaxation and outdoor living
Outside awaits a large, green garden with a lovely private swimming pool. The pool measures 8 x 5 metres, has a depth of 1 to 2 metres and is equipped with Roman steps and lighting.
Around the villa are lawns, mature trees and various terraces and quiet corners. There is always a nice spot to be found to sit in the sun, seek out the shade or enjoy a long summer evening with a drink.
Surroundings: discover the region
Miramont-de-Guyenne is a typical French village where daily life still follows a pleasantly peaceful rhythm. Because the villa is only a few minutes' walk from the village, you can regularly leave the car behind.
There is also plenty to discover outside Miramont. By bike or after a short drive, you can reach various characterful villages. Lauzun, for example, is known for its castle and beautiful gardens. In Allemans-du-Dropt there is a remarkable church whose origins date back to the Middle Ages. You can also hire kayaks here for a relaxing trip on the Dropt river. Other beautiful places in the area are Eymet, Duras and Issigeac.
Villa Miramont is also well-positioned for a longer day trip. Bordeaux is approximately 90 minutes' drive away. If you head towards the Atlantic coast, you can combine a day by the sea with the impressive dunes and beaches. Wine lovers, on the other hand, can go on a discovery tour along the famous vineyards of Saint-Émilion, Sauternes and the Médoc.
