The local duck hunting lodge built in 1900 for an African trading post merchant.
We made it our family home 30 years ago.
It had no running water, no kitchen, no bathrooms, a fireplace for heating and cooking.
Today it is a very pleasant house of 160m2, cool in summer and warm in winter with its 2 fireplaces. I have kept the windows and glass doors that are characteristic of Canaulais houses for their charm and the through light they bring.
The house has 3 bedrooms, each with a 140x200 bed and a washbasin + mirror for 2 of them.
There is an outbuilding attached to the house (access from the outside) consisting of a large bedroom (bed 160 + children's bed 80x160), a shower room with washbasin and a separate toilet.
The house is surrounded by a vast garden with trees (3000m2 plot) with direct access to the lake and its small beach (almost private) + private pontoon where you can moor a boat or other craft.
You have at your disposal the terrace and garden furniture (gas grill, dining table, chairs, outdoor living room, hammocks...).
Also, you can enjoy a stand up paddle + badminton court + trampoline (from June to September)
